Informed by the study and practical application of Happiness Studies, Pagoda Tree Education is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) charity (EIN: 92-2406120), registered in the State of New York.
Pagoda Tree seeks to promote equitable access to evidence-based methods of childhood, adolescent, and adult/lifelong learning, primarily within marginalized immigrant communities.
Toward this end, we engage in the evidence-based creation and dissemination of educational materials tailored to the needs and learning styles of these communities, such as multilingual resources, free online courses, or physical workshops. We also seek to partner with schools and community centers to provide tutoring and mentoring programs for children and youth, especially those who face educational barriers due to language or cultural differences. As it pertains to adult learning opportunities, we plan to organize activities such as language classes, vocational training, or financial literacy workshops, to support lifelong learning and economic empowerment.
Overall, these activities aim to reduce educational disparities and provide marginalized immigrant communities with the tools and resources needed to not only survive, but to thrive.
