Multimodal Childhood Education

Pagoda Tree Education recognizes that children learn in different ways and through different modalities. To support multimodal childhood education, we aim to create educational materials and programs that incorporate a variety of learning styles and approaches. Our programs may include hands-on activities, group projects, and technology-based learning opportunities to engage and inspire children from diverse backgrounds.

Happy Mandarin Club

Summer Camp

This summer, we invite your child(ren) to the Happy Mandarin Club’s in-person immersive Mandarin summer program in Long Island to explore the Chinese language and culture! With flexible scheduling, our 4 sessions summer program offers students a simulated “journey” through travel back to China’s Tang, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties to experience the three most famous Chinese festivals: the Dragon Boat Festival regarded initially as a traditional medical and health festival; the Mid-autumn festival, a celebration of autumn harvests and the appreciation of the moon; and the most important and festive of all – Lunar New Year, and integrate a weekly theme with a wide range of content-based Chinese activities, including Chinese literature for Children, musical instrument workshops, Peking opera, and shadow puppet workshops, stem projects, arts and Chinese Kung Fu, Martial Fencing, and Folk dance !” 

At Happy Mandarin Club, we turn language, culture, and history into a fun learning experience through hands-on activities, engaging games, arts and crafts, and cultural exploration. We are bringing Ancient China back to life this summer. Unique weekly themes will allow campers to discover architecture, fashion, entertainment, transportation, and more both in the Qing Dynasty and the modern world!

We are bringing Ancient China back to life this summer. Unique weekly themes will allow campers to discover architecture, fashion, entertainment, transportation, and more in ancient China and the modern world! Students will also participate in various cultural activities, such as Chinese water painting, calligraphy, Chinese sports, and culinary, as well as weekly music and theatre workshops on Tuesday that will broaden students’ horizons of Chinese culture and art.
